REIKI & ASHATI HISTORY
And the difference between the two energy systems.
Reiki and Ashati are both powerful energy healing modalities
which assist in releasing “ stuck energy “
and work with the body’s meridian system.
While they share common goals of promoting health and balance,
Ashati incorporates a broader scope of energy work and spiritual
development expanding beyond traditional Reiki practices.
While Reiki primarily focuses on healing and balancing the body’s
energy, Ashati places a strong emphasis on spiritual ascension and
awakening offering more tools for personal development.
Ashati often integrates energy work with practices aimed at expanding
consciousness and releasing deep - seated emotional traumas.
Where - as Reiki was originated from Japan and developed by “Mikao
Usui” in the early 20th century and influenced by shintoism and
buddhism, Ashati is a newer system developed by “ Jerome Baudel” and
combines aspects of Reiki with additional energetic practices designed
for more rapid spiritual growth, emotional healing and personal
transformation. Ashati includes elements of higher - vibrational energies and seeks to expand consciousness beyond just the physical realm.
Reiki & Ashati is non intrusive, gentle and safe.

CRYSTAL POWER
Crystals hold many energies and powers and can truly heal.
Crystals have been renowned for centuries to have various properties.
Many crystals amplify, transform, store, focus and transfer energy.
When squeezed, Quartz crystal generates electricity, that is; when an
electric current is sent through, it swells and shrinks, and done fast
enough, this is called oscillation. Quartz and water vibrate
at a similar frequency, energetically.
As the human body is composed of over 70% water, it is not surprising
that these vibrations are also very compatible with the human body.
This enables us to use crystals for healing in both
our physical and etheric bodies.

Hot Stone Massage or Therapy has quickly become one of the
most popular forms of bodywork.
The most common type of stones used for this therapy are Basalt
stones, as they are dense and smooth to the skin.
Other types of stones may be used for other purposes but simply don’t
stand up to the heat or tension like Basalt stones.
Sometimes using a contrast of both hot and cool stones will drive
different benefits and help to heal a variety of conditions, as well as to
produce a vascular response.
Using hot and cool can also help with meridian tracing techniques, and
which can help to stimulate and tone the muscles and warm up this
surface anatomy.Warm and hot stones are more commonly used for relaxation and wellbeing.
Heated Stone Therapy is an ancient modality and it involves the
application of heated volcanic stones, of varying sizes to key points on
the body, creating sensations of comfort and warmth which can have a
sedative effect on the nervous system.
Stone therapy can work well with massage and common trigger or
acupressure points, as well as with energy healing.
Stone therapy can help greatly with feelings of stress, anxiety and
fatigue. It can also help to increase circulation and excretion from kidneys.
HOT STONE HISTORY & CONTRAINDICATIONS
TYPES OF STONES
Basically, there are 3 types of stones on the planet, which are
Sedimentary, Igneous - ( there is a substantial weight with these
stones which is beneficial and is very similar to that of a Myofascial
release technique ) and Metamorphic.
Igneous stones means “ fire formed” these stones are formed from
volcanic eruptions and are the Basalt stones - containing high ore
properties such as iron and copper, making them durable and
sustainable for a heated stone treatment.
Metamorphic stones are also a type of Basalt stone and are extremely
old stones ( all over 300 - 600 million years old ) and are found mainly in river beds.
They have a very stimulating kind of property and were found in such
places like the remote location of Africa.

STONE SHAPES & SIZES
I always work with at least 2 different stone sets with a hot stone routine.
Some stones I have purchased from a supplier, while others, Mother
nature has simply given to me, her greatest gift, taken from river beds
or straight from the sandy shores - and these stones are still in their
natural form and shape, so are more wholesome to the body.
Although it is not always possible to use these stones, as they don’t
necessarily distribute even heat, I prefer to use them if I can, as I can
usually find one that corresponds to a specific body part.
Like a heart shaped stone I will place over the heart, because it brings
healing to the heart center. Or a flat triangular shaped stone I will place on top of the sacrum.
These stones can still work well as placement stones.
I will always use larger and heavier stones for larger body parts and
smaller stones for smaller areas.
I will sometimes wind a stone around in a circular motion on a very tight
area on the body, and by doing this it actually helps to uncoil the
tension in the muscle belly.I use warm to hot stones to keep in constant motion with a massage
treatment. The cold stones are cooler than body temperature and
bring their own set of healing benefits and are also perfect to use if
there is any present swelling of puffiness.

Stone Therapy, but may highly benefit from a heated hand
massage where the heated stones have simply been rolled in
the healers palms, and only the warm hands make contact
with the clients body.. Warm placement stones can also be used safely on top of the
clients clothing or towel.
“When pregnant, the cells of the baby migrate into the mothers bloodstream and then circle back into the baby,
it’s called “fetal-maternal microchimerism”. For 41 weeks, the cells circulate and merge backwards and forwards, and after the baby is born, many of these cells stay in the mother’s body, leaving a permanent imprint in the mothers tissues, bones, brain,
and skin, and often stay there for decades. Every single child a mother has afterwards will leave a similar imprint on her body, too.
Even if a pregnancy doesn't go to full term or if you have a termination, these cells still migrate into your bloodstream.
Research has shown that if a mother's heart is injured, fetal cells will rush to the site of the injury and change into different types of cells that specialize in mending the heart. The baby helps repair the mother, while the mother builds the baby.
This is often why certain illnesses vanish while pregnant. It’s incredible how mothers bodies protect the baby at all costs,
and the baby protects & rebuilds the mother back- so that the baby can develop safely and survive.
Think about crazy cravings for a moment. What was the mother deficient in that the baby made them crave?
Studies have also shown cells from a fetus in a mothers brain 18 years after she gave birth.
If you’re a mom you know how you can intuitively feel your child even when they are not there….Well, now there is scientific proof that moms carry them for years and years even after they have given birth to them.I find this to be so very beautiful.
